The Tyros 2 Review

On July 9th I was driving back from the golf course when I received a phone call from Tony. He had mentioned to Kyle & I back in April about an idea he was sitting on regarding officials, scheduling, etc. Kyle and I thought it was brilliant but didn't pursue the idea any further since Tony didn't elaborate much beyond the structure of the idea.

On this particular day Tony seemed very excited. He again told me the idea and after he was done he asked if we could put all things Waggle & Cleek (golf consulting business) on hold and join this venture. We decided to dedicate our time and resources fully on getting this idea off of the ground.

In the next few weeks we formed our team as things seemed to take off from there. It's been an unbelievable journey so far with the people we have been privileged to meet. The doors that have both been opened and closed have been stretching and helpful for us as a team.

On October 22nd our Mastermind of User Experience Michael officially joined the team. All of the amazing graphic work you see and will continue to see is courtesy of him.

November 6th the team drove up to Lafayette, IN and met our Mastermind of Programming Joe. He clicked instantly with the guys and we look forward to the work that he is capable of.

On November 25th, we officially incorporated in the State of Indiana. We are blessed to have a solid Board of Directors and a wonderful support team in place. Development has started on the website and will be launching in the first quarter of 2011.

We finished our animation video on December 15th and within a week of launch we were contacted by Andrew, the CEO of Andrews and Halsted Design Company, LLC, a visual communications company based in the Indianapolis area. Andrew was so impressed by our work that he is personally nominating our video for an American Marketing Association Award. Everyone involved in its development did a great job, with a big high five to Michael.

It is now officially 2011. This year is going to be huge for us. Continue to follow the blog and let every official, coach, or person know about The Tyros. We appreciate all of you. Happy New Year!

Tyros Family/Recognition

We hope all of you and your families had a wonderful Christmas season! We are staying busy here setting up an investor party and constantly working to make the Tyros application better and better each passing day. Our development team is hard at work on the website and things are on track for beta testing really soon.
