We're on our first company road trip. Good ole' Illinois?! Never thought I would say that. Kyle is chronicling the entire journey on twitter (www.twitter.com/thetyros) so make sure to check that out. We're picking up some equipment in Champaign, IL and then taking it up to Naperville...seeing my boy JHoppp and then heading back to Plainfield.
Peace out Tyros Community

Blessed
Tyros Village...we have really been blessed throughout this whole venture. We held our Introduction Party last Thursday at Jeremy's house (check out his firm www.FlashPointHR.com). We met a lot of people who are very excited about this product.
Often times during ventures like this when you're working with people so close, for so long, and the majority of the time of your day you tend to get frustrated with each other. Regardless if it's your best friend or just somebody you trust in business. I'm fortunate enough to have both. Storms pass. We've realized how blessed we are with each other and the direction this company is headed. I hope we never lose sight of those two facts.
Continue to follow us. Invite friends. This is going to be an epic journey.

Panzarotti's in HD
I'm an accomplished eater. I dominate food with the ferocity that Blake Griffin dominates a round piece of orange steel. In Shelbyville, IN there is a cafe called Panzarotti's. Team Tyros is craving that very place.
I will make a promise. I will eat anything in that restaurant in 4 bites or less if we get a chance to go back there this week.
For now, forks up folks!

Back in the Saddle...
They say to be an expert you must read, read, read. Educate yourself, know your product, live it, love it. Depending on who you ask there is an over-whelming belief that you must be "educated" by literature or classroom experience to become an expert in any field.
I'd venture to say that experience and product knowledge can be achieved through different vehicles. Running a business is a very difficult thing to do. I constantly get told that I'm so lucky to be doing what I'm doing. I am. I wouldn't trade my decision to start this or to trust my partners like their my own family for anything. However, until you live through it, until you go through ups and downs, until you fight with one of those brothers you can't fully understand the pride in doing this.
A class or a book can't teach you how to deal with people. Experience can though. The good news with finding a solid team is that they forgive and forget. Kyle & Tony mean the world to me. As well as the rest of this incredible team. We do not agree on every idea, thought, or statement made by one another. However, one thing I know is true, that no matter how much I hate something one of my team members or future employees may say or bring to the table, they're still part of my family and in the end that's all that matters.
