Tyros Village

What a week! It's the end of the week and we're heading up to the northside (Keystone at the Crossing) to First Person Advisors (www.firstpersonadvisors.com)

Things are really ramping up! We had a terrific meeting with Shelbyville yesterday! We're excited to what the future holds with them. Take care!

  1. Tyros Team,

I have been following your work for a month or so now, and I am very intrigued. I work at the Flagship Enterprise Center up in Anderson, IN which is a facility very similar to the Purdue AmeriPlex facility.

I am also Founder of my own startup, http://bit.ly/i6WPPf.

My strategy to drive people to my site has been all about answering questions. So for me I knew that a lot of entrepreneurs were looking for:

"How to Write an Executive Summary"
    "Executive Summary Example"
    "Executive Summary Template" etc.

So I created how to ebooks, examples, and templates to draw in a relevant audience to my website. In 6 months I have gone from 0 website visits to about 3,500 per month, and I now have about 1,400 subscribers on my email list. Pretty cool for a nights and weekends project...

Anyway I always use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool to determine what people are searching for and how many people are searching for it. The tool also gives you some insight as to which keyword phrases are most competitive.

I did a quick search for Tyros and I believe that in a few months you could be pulling in some major traffic through a blog. Here is what I found:

    "How to Become a Referee" - 6,600 searches/month
    "Referee Assignments" - 1,600 searches/month
    "Become a Referee" - 8,100 searches/month

That just scratches the surface because there are also thousands of people searching for "How to Become a (pick a sport) Referee"

If Tyros was recognized as the expert and the information hub answering all of these questions, I believe you could convert a significant number or visitors into web application customers.

Anyway, keep up the good work, and I am excited to see what happens. If you want to discuss you can email me at adam@flagshipenterprise.org
