News From The Tyros: April 6 2011

The Tyros Weekly Update

Wednesday the 6th of April, 2011
DO YOU WANT TO BE RICH?
Then be rich in this moment, right now, where you are, with all that you have. Let go of the need to control, the need to judge, and the need to possess, and feel the immense beauty of simply and authentically being you. Every richness you could ever truly care about is here for you to allow.

You don't have to fight for or wait for or hope for some future circumstance to make you rich. The experience of richness comes when you fully accept and celebrate in this moment that you have more than enough.

The Blind Zebra

This past week we launched a website called The Blind Zebra (www.theblindzebra.com).  It is an officiating oriented blog, so please follow along with it and tell your friends to do the same!

Week In Review
One of the biggest highlights of the past week was our meeting with Nate Altman of Developer Town (www.developertown.com).  What an inspirational company!  Make sure you check out their website.  They have a really cool culture and an amazing business model.  Nate really inspired us, and we can't thank him enough for meeting with us.

Team Tyros took a company field trip to the Children's Museum last week also!  It was a great time to not talk business at all, and just relax with everyone and our families.  It helped us wind-down, so that we could ramp up for a big push this week!

Monday, April 4th was The Tyros' Shelbyville Extravaganza 2011!  We finalized our deal with the City of Shelbyville and can't thank them enough for their support!  You can see pictures at www.facebook.com/thetyros!  Then, afterwards we had a great time at Indiana Live Casino in Shelbyville.  Thank you to the casino and to every one of you that came by to celebrate with us!  This was a huge milestone for our company, and we could feel everyone's energy there with us!

Development

We are currently in the midst of The Lock-In 3.0.  Things are flying and going very well.  We have a quick meeting for 15 minutes every morning to discuss what everyone did the previous day, what's on their agenda today, and what could prevent them from accomplishing their goals.  Then, it is head phones and music on, and everyone blitzing to get us fully prepared for beta testing later this month.

Our goal is to have Phase 1 fully functioning and  beta testing by May 18th.

Upcoming Events
The next big milestone for us will be meeting with the Ohio High School Athletic Association on April 20th to present our web application to them.

We will also be presenting at Verge (www.facebook.com/vergeindy) later this month, which is an amazing event for startups and entrepreneurs.

Until next week,

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support! Please make sure you click follow, above to the right, and keep in touch with our blog!
